Family Cost Participation
The Family Cost Participation Program (FCPP) requires parents with higher incomes to share in the cost of regional center services for their children who are under age 18 and living in the family home. Costs depend on the family’s income and the number of persons living in the home. Your family’s income must be at 400 percent or more of the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines to be eligible.
Cost-sharing for these services is on a sliding scale ranging from 10 to 100 percent. The program requires families to pay the service provider directly for the portion of the cost for which it is responsible and the regional center makes a separate payment to the provider for their calculated portion.
