Employment First Workshop

May 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

| $10

Employment first flyer

This is an important workshop for educators and parents with teens and adults with autism/developmental disabilities.

Don’t miss Rick McAllister – national subject matter from New Hampshire – an expert with over 40 years of experience in employment for individuals with disabilities!  This workshop will not be repeated.

The Inland Empire has the unfortunate distinction of having a 98% unemployment rate for our adults with Autism in the Inland Empire.  We believe all adults with autism have the opportunity to do work that contributes to their communities, and should  receive compensation befitting their positions.  For some that will mean competitive work, for others, it will mean a job carved specially for them, and for others, it could be self-employment or meaningful volunteer work.   Come learn what options are out there and what best practice looks like.

Early Registration rate is $10 pp until May 2nd. $20 pp after May 3rd.
